Changes
We would like to inform you of the following changes.
1. For all textbooks
The password for all textbooks will be renewed twice a year (March 1st and September 1st of each year).
We will inform by email teachers who are using online supplementary materials one week before.
Before the change (until August 31st, 2023):
-
Passwords are updated four times a year (every April, June, September, and November).
↓
After the change (from September 1st, 2023):
-
Passwords will be updated twice a year (March 1st and September 1st each year).
2. Conversations in Class (3/E)
Before the change (until August 31st, 2023):
Access method to the following two types of digital textbooks, from the "Online Materials Page" on this website:
-
Flipbooks: password required.
-
Google Slides: shared with teachers' Google accounts.
↓
After the change (from September 1st, 2023):
We have created for each textbook a dedicated website that contains:
-
A list of all links to the teacher's digital textbook (lesson-per-lesson flipbooks and Google Slides).
-
The Teacher's Book in PDF format
-
Audio tracks
The list of all links to the teacher's digital textbook and teacher's manual in PDF format is protected by a common password. Once you are on the page that lists all links to the teacher's digital textbook, no extra passwords will be needed: just click on the desired link, and the digital textbooks (flipbooks and Google Slides) will open, without needing to enter extra passwords or get permission (it is no longer necessary to share Google Slides with teachers individually).
3. Ibunka!
Before the change (until August 31, 2023):
The following four resources on the textbook-dedicated website (ibunka.jp) are password-protected:
-
Teachers' page
-
Teacher's Manual (PDF)
-
Flipbooks
-
Vocabulary page for students
↓
After the change (from September 1, 2023):
Within the dedicated website (ibunka.jp), password protection is only for the following two items:
-
Teachers' site
One single password will enable you to access the Teacher’s site. Once you are in, no extra passwords will be needed: just click on the desired link, and the digital textbooks (flipbooks and Google Slides) will open without needing to enter extra passwords (flipbooks) or get permission (Google Slides). -
